Dear All, (Kindly read my points properly and reply with your honest comments)

I am penning down my 10 point suggestions, which I trust, should help in the resolution of “Land Transfer Issue” raked up by Sangarsh Samiti, Jammu and same should also be a prelude in bridging the gulf between the polarized communities of Jammu / Kashmir.

1. At the first instance, to create an atmosphere of Goodwill, let the Hurriyat Conference alongwith Yasin Malik, exhibit the Political Maturity of taking an Initiative to inviting the Sangarsh Samiti/RSS/VHP/BJP/All Party amalgam, as formed by the G.O.I, to Amarnath Area both from Baltal and the Pahalgam side and let all of them have the first hand view on the status of the land.
2. Let the people who have acceptability both in Kashmir and Srinagar including the persons from media like Editor of Kashmir Times/ Barkha Dutt of NDTV/Prem Shanker Jha/Gautam Navlakha/Wajahat Habibullah, et al, also be involved in the committee. I think if the Film/Cricket Stars like Shahrukh Khan, Amir Khan Sachin Tedulkar also get involved, if they deem so, they would also act as catalysers.
3. Let the places/locations be identified first, by the committee, including the Hurriyat Conference, alongwith a team of vibrant Environmentalists, where hutments/structures are to be erected. After identification of the Locations the Pre Fabricated Structures should be erected, of course, subject to the due approval from the Competent Authority like the Forest Department/ Pollution Control Board. The purpose of the same should be to providing comfort to the Yatri’s and primarily the objective should be to save the Yatri’s from the vagaries of nature.
4. Let only domicile Kashmir’s be at the helm of affairs to manage the Yatra.
5. Let it be made clear in unequivocal terms by Hurriyat Conference to all but that the Yatra, in future, would be conducted in the same manner as it has been going on in the past and with the same Enthusiasm and religious fervour and that too in a Secularist way- wherein Kashmiri Muslims have been helping their Brethren Hindu Yatri’s.
6. Restore the Dignified position of Malik Family- the discoverers of the cave and the same would also project the same Secular image of Kashmir, as was being exhibited by the Malik’s while putting up “Tilak” to their Hindu brethren,
7. Let the ensuing Yatra’s be jointly managed by the Sangarsh Committee and the Hurriyat Conference and also with the support from the State Govt.
8. Let all the Hindu’s manage the Langars, etc as they have been doing previously but with the prior approval from the Committee to make the System more accountable and disciplined. It has to be assured that the same should not be an impediment in the running of the Langars and also in exercising their legitimate religious duties. The places where Langars are to be established should also be identified to see whether such Locations are safer.
9. Condemnation of the Killings both in Kashmir and Jammu by both Sangarsh Samiti as well as Hurriyat Conference.
10. Once all the facilities are created the Hurriyat should withdraw from the co-ordination committee and if the situation demands they can remain aligned. It shall purely be as per the wishes of the members of the Committee formed.

Your suggestions are borne out of genuine concern. Agreed.

But the basic argument of the muslims that no Hindu/ Hindu shrine should own any land in the Valley is unacceptable. What if the Hindus in Jammu and Buddhists in Ladak drive out the muslims and say that they should not come back. You are guilty of ethnic cleansing of Pandits and you do not need any sympathy, support or consiederation.

The behaviour of the Valley muslims is the same as is displayed by the followers of Islam in all muslim countries. You should know that the world is tired. We are ready to leave the Valley to the mercy of Allah.

1) Appesment and Goodwill never helped till now. Why you think that it will help further ? remember after sachar commision report indian had officially given so many discount especially to Muslims… what we got back ? a Indian-Mujahdeen ultimatum (available to read on Islam watch) and Islamic banking (an institute that funded indian partition in 1947 … check book Islam and mammon )

2) which media, that currently features heavy investment from Arabs… or should i say about Amir khan… that has a countdown waiting since 2006 regarding when he will speak for kashmiri Hindus….

3) Hurriyat is no environmentalist, they a separatist bigots… and where were your environmentalist when Mughal road was made ?

4) why not jammuties, or why not anyone from india regardless of in which state he is born? where is your secularism ? and why should Hindu shrine be governed by Mohammedian kashmiris…. will such stuffs be allowed in other way… will a Hindu get such honor over some Dargah or Mosque ?

5) Golden rule of religion says.. help others like human, without bringing faith in between…… but argh, how can Muslim understand this, if islam does not have Golden rule in it…

anyways we are not interested in paying any Jaziya…. including that too malik brothers.

6) remind you, the point is contradictory…. as historic references from visitors from india always mentioned the cave that hindu visited to worship ice-lingam does not match with islamic propaganda regarding malik brothers invention…. and we are not interested in sharing 40% shrine donations to Maliks…

7) a big No to Hurriyat… got it you repersentative of fanatic hurryat…

why not put such implications on Muslims 1st, regarding where to cut animals on Eid…. infact using roads for butchery is also unsafe as well as ugly.

9) i think condemnation is required killing any Human. we are no more interested in viewing the conflict as localized, especially when foreign militancy is involved.

10 ) no need to withdraw… we want to see Hurryat dismantled…. Hurriyat in-fact remind me a saying “100 chuhe khakar billi hajj ko chali”. thats also true for terrorist-turned-politicians of Hurriyat conference….

but dude Jihad is Jihad… and Hindu uprising is against Jihad…

I too am missing lot of my pandit friends due to the Exodus. But when we meet we do regret that the ugly should not have happened… But our biggest consolation is that we are meeting again and again and we share such a Chemistry with each other that its really inexplicable.

I should reiterate that its the Culture which binds the communities and not the Religion.

Lets make a new begginning and if you move one step ahead in the process you would find a big leap from us.

Islam treats its minorities shabbily world over; why the Hindu India, the Christian West and Buddhist China should treat the followers of Islam differently?

Islam when in majority imposes theocracy and when in minority demands secularism and Sachaar commission. Why this should be allowed?

Name one muslim country in the world which has a history of sustained democracy, an independent judiciary with secular laws, fair treatment of minorities etc. Malaysia is a supposedly moderate muslim country and the muslims there at have demolished more than 300 temples during the last three years and they follow a policy of favouring the majority in education and jobs etc. Why we should not replicate?

I understand that around 600 remples have been vandalised in the Valley itself. Is it true?

1 it won’t help… because the persons of hurriat conf …they are the root cause of every problem.. these talks will lead to nowhere.. they act as catlyst and create problems in the valley.. and what will u say about what pdp did… .so these poltical parties will never help us out

In Kashmir Separatists/Militants have given an open call to Hindus to leave Kashmir.

They have started repeating 1990 Slogans: Hinduvo Kashmir Chodo, Hame Chahye “Nizame-e-Mustafa”. “Hum Kya Chahti AAZADI”

Forty non-muslims Judges alongwith 400 non-muslims State Employees Have left Kashmir during last 72 Hours.

They have been transported to Ramban by Kashmiri Transporters under security. Kashmiri Transporters refused to ply them to Jammu.

Kashmiri Pandit Employees are being abused/harassed by Muslim Colleagues and are being threatened to leave Kashmir. Pandit Tenants are being thrown out by Muslim Landlords without prior notice.

It is also learnt that in past three weeks a dozen Kashmir pandits are missing from the rural interiors of Kashmir, presumably they have been killed.

Kashmiri Muslim Separatists say AMARNATH LAND issue is a non-issue for them. They say their only issue is Indian imperialism should go from Kashmir. They have directed all J&K political party workers, MLAs, MPs to resign and join them.
They have also directed all top state Govt. Muslim officials to resign from their posts. J&K Police have been directed not to act against separatists.

I can only imagine what your community has been through in the valley at the hands of the serpentine kashmiri moslems ( those who are anti India ).

PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT OF ANY HELP FROM THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT ESPECIALLY UNDER THE CONGRESS.

YOU WILL HAVE TO CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS THROUGH YOUR CONTACTS. REST OF INDIA IS WITH YOU.

Now I was greatly pleased to see the KP’s holding demonstration in the US.

BUT DO YOU THINK THE WEST KNOWS ENOUGH THAT 5 LAKH OF YOU HAVE BEEN ETHNICALLY CLEANSED FROM KASHMIR????

ANSWER IS NO AND THEY WILL NOT CARE UNLESS THEY ARE FORCED TO.

Now, i regularly watch BBC WORLD AND CNN, and its a fact that JAMMU AND KASHMIR news came in their headlines once there were protests in “KASHMIR” and there was also talks of some “human rights violations” regarding the handling by security forces and talk of the dispute.

BUT WHY THERE IS NO TALK OF THE ETHNIC CLEANSING OF KP’s FROM THE KASHMIR VALLEY ??WHEN THESE NEWS COMES FROM VALLEY ON THESE CHANNELS AND WHEN THESE CHAMPIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS COME INTO THE PICTURE FROM THE WEST ( WHERE THE MORAL POWER IS THERE THESE DAYS ).

So this becomes responsibility of all the KP’s all over the world to educate the west through their friends, through media, through the NRI’s, using these Human Rights organisations et al, so that once Kashmir topic comes up due to any reason and it is discussed, in the same breath the “ETHNIC CLEANSING OF KP’s SHOULD ALSO BE HIGHLIGHTED”.

Please use all your power to draw the world’s attention to the troubles you all have been through.

We can talk provided you guys strip yourself of all anti India sentiments and give up your demand for independence; which I don’t think is go to happen anytime soon.

All Indians: We need to step up our agitation. People in jammu are doing a wonderfull job; we need to provide moral as well as monetory support. I’m in the United States – native born, white protestant – and whenever I write about islam in comment threads, etc., I always mention the religious/ethnic cleansing of KP’s from valley.

Gradually, America is piecing together the bits of this puzzle – the fact that islam will not tolerate a subordinate position for its laws and will quite typically and predictably engage in violent separatists actions and religious based cleansings. (For them, it’s a bit of a sancrament, and sanctioned by the Quran). Enough has been said and written such that full comprehension is drifting just below the surface. Non-muslems – and I mean ALL of us – buddhist, hindu, Christian, animists, atheist – need to stand together and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Publicize your experiences, especially the religious based cleansings that took place in the 1990’s, as widely and publically as possible, public demonstrations and absolutely the best. You’all may be some of the most recent victims of jihad, but with your help, maybe all of us can ensure that you’re one of the very last.

I was few moments talking to one of the kashmiri pandit family in srinagar and there were statements on sanjay tikoo being televised and i heard it on the phone….. I asked him why is he supporting muslims…… and answer i got is for the few kashmiri pandits who are in the valley how can he not…………….. it is heart breaking when I heard that…………………… It is fear and on the mosques they are openly asking for nizami mustafa and pakistan……………. on on net they play another tune ……………. They have pushed out all the hindus out of valley……….. so far nothing has been told to few kashmiri pandits in valley………………..

May better sense prevail may world be free from terrorism use the formula

I strong believe in that we need to bring the awareness among people about our ethnic cleaning of KP’s .
I think it is the time we should start making the demonstration at the root level .

We can make sure that we explain the situation to every one whom we met in out day to day life .

We can wear the T shits which print “ETHNIC CLEANSING OF HUMANS BY ISLAM” Or some proper catch statement , make sure that we wear at same time across the globe.

I am planning to get the above statement printed on Tshits which I can wear one a week at my work place .
We(those who are in india) can wear such Tshits when we are visiting abroad(US,Europe)
I am not sure if that would work , but this can be starting point

I think spreading the word will have effect.

Most importantly , we need to get all the YOUTH’s together , I think our generations owns this social responsibility to KP’s ( to our grandparents ) .
Let us not FIGHT back , what do you say ?

We can fight it in a PROFESSIONAL way , the planned way .

No roots, Vicki. I’m an irish/scandinavian/welsh (and a bunch of other things), i.e. an American mut. My interest stems from reading Ali Sina’s website, Faith Freedom.

I comment frequently on the internet. When I refer to the KP cleansings it’s usually in context of discussing other (somewhat) similar cleansings, e.g. S. Phillipines (several thousand catholic farmers cleansed in the past couple of weeks alone), Darfur, Bangladesh, the suffering of copts, assyrians and jews in the M.E., Thailand, Northern Nigeria, etc.

It’s important that people understand the common thread and the theology that underpins it.

We have KP’s at higher position in most of the MNC’s and I see this can have great impact , first thing is to get the people opinion about it .

I am not sure if we ever get justice but we can just try at individual level.

Who would have though ever that we might have to leave valley in 1960’s , never in our dreams .
May be we get some highly influential person like ambani’s/tatas with strong *COMMUNITY* feeling to hit back these guys , I see that only the possible options that will highlight our case.

I don’t see any other way.

Hi all nationalists,

We can always write “Kashmiri Pandits were Ethnically Cleansed By Terrorism” on the t shirt.

I dont think anyone can object to this, and i am sure once people read this in the west they will ask what this is about and then the enlightment can follow.

Signature campaigning is a good idea, though i feel easier idea is to create an email with some facts and figures and maybe pictures of those times as attachment and start a forward e-mail and we can add our names and place of residence as our support.

Think of how much crap e mails we get as forwards … this one can be for a real cause.

Some nationalist KP will have to take out some time and effort to start it.

I will be honoured to receive and forward it further at anonymous_830000@yahoo.co.in.

Maybe we can add some address to the mail ( perhaps some address of CNN OR BBC office :))
and ask people to show greater support to the issue by sending their signed support to the issue to this address.

I am sure our IT brigade all over the world will help out in this issue a lot.

So please start something concrete as soon as possible.

Just to update the current situation. It is moving fast towards separation of the valley. .Pandit and Dogra state employees have left Srinagar and returned to Jammu . Earlier 9 Dogra judges posted in the valley had left. Some Hindu houses in Pulwama have been attacked. Even many who had stayed back during past two decades have left, others are preparing to leave. Many Kashmiri Muslims who have made their houses in Jammu have also left.

Situation is out of control of the government. Pro-Pak lobby in dlhi and in Srinagar has intensified its activity. Four major national dailies are reportd to be funded by the Pakistani Ambassador in New Delhi . A couple of Muslims of Jammu, Gujjars and Shias who had said in TV interviews that the land should have been given to the shrine, have been handed threats and they have sought security.

In today Hindustan Times and The Times of India two columnists of great repute have very frankly and openly advised the government to conduct referendum. These generally voice the views of the government.

In a meeting of the Congress leaders here in Jammu (closed door meeting) some people said tha the Pandits were the main instigators which is totally baseless. But the government of Vohra seems to have fallen a prey to the stupendous disinformation campaign and he has, in his dictatorial manner, ordered shifting of Relief Commissioner’ s office to Srinagar . Pandits have resented it but nobody is going to listen to them at this time.

US and European chapters of our community, whatever the name and nomenclature, should unite to chalk a line of action and a policy and guide the community as well as the nationalist forces to ensure a decision that does not jeopardize national interests. Here it seems free for all. But Jammu movement is well organized and well controlled. Only a few hundred were present at official flag hoisting on15 August but in the flag hoisting rally of SS, there were more than fifty thousand people. Battle lines are draw,

I am not sure how true the messages you posted out there are, I have been in regular touch with KPs over jammu and kashmir from whom I understand the situation is sensitive.

Let us accept the fact that we are in minority and no body will listen to us unless we find a way to escalate this issue to the right authorities. I am not sure who is that right authority could be .
We need to find a way to reach the masses with our limited resources , that is the CHALLANGE for us.

It is not the land issue at all now
1) It is fight between Indians and Anti-Indians , that is how common people look.
2) It is a political game for politicians , hurrait gaining there popularity back in valley and BJP making there place in Jammu .

Things are getting complex now, let us now see where things next move.

We need to do things in organized and planned way , impact the the right spot .
I don’t believe that we can not make the impact at right place , all we need is to be logical and keep doing.

I think you misjudged the situation, as well as you misread the context, which is too confined to national boundaries, though its was always a global conflict… we fought this war last time too…. and the war is back on us…

its was never confined to BJP, rather it was always a global war….its only that after WW2 only a silent truce was made between opposite poles….. BJP and Congis repersent those two poles inside india in post WW2 context…

Well as you all are… I too am a professional who is not in Jammu presently however the mood is certainly full of anger. My parents took part in court arrest today and will keep on fighting for the cause till our agitation reaches conclusion. The latest news that is not covered in media is that stone throwing incidences have occurred at Sikh gurudwaras in Kashmir. Incidences like these have strengthened peoples resolve to fish against fundamentalists and Jihadi Kashmiri Muslims.
Well as far as Govt of India is concerned its spine less and faceless.

Our BIGGEST mistake was not undertaking complete population exchange at the time of partition, thanks to Nehru/Gandhi appeasement policies. If there were no Muslims in India, this debate on the forum would not take place. Muslims always want their cake and eat it too. And the pseudo-seculars have aided this process. Enough is enough. Just make sure the placards mention the role that islam and the mosques played in your troubles as well as the nature and extent of the cleansing. Personally, I think this would be a most effective tactic.

I was born and brought up in Jammu and have seen how these Muslims who were not to be seen in Jammu now cover almost 30% of the Jammu town. The demograpy of Jammu was changed in a planned manner by the state govt which was always Kashmiri Muslim dominated to spread their vote bank and Islam and to turn hindu dominated area to mirority over a period of time.

I am seeing my state of Jammu and its people being deprived of their share of development and at the same time kashmiri muslims as prospering in the state. Jammu people have realised it and have stood up to muslim appeasement policy followed by all including center govt.

My request to all my county men rise before its too late.

The truth is that the KP’s no longer want to stay in Jammu, dogra’s are also not seeing any future over there in jammu.
We must bring employment in Jammu and make sure YOUTH stay back home , these things should be worked upon.
How sad it is to see our parents fighting over there and we are helpless over here ?

Bottom line is to get EMPLOYMENT over there, invite Indians to INVEST in Jammu and not in Kashmir.
All this will encourage YOUTH to stay back.

Last year I came to know that one of the big IT company was interested in setting operations in Jammu but Mufti did not allow it to happen, he asked them to come over to Kashmir.
The IT company backed up because they were not convinced with the idea of setting it in KASHMIR, Mufti had tried to play communal card too as the head of the IT company was Muslim but it did not work ……..
I am not sure how true it is but though of sharing over here .

secondly because of article 370 j&k is diff from rest of india… having its own cont and other laws…so whenever a company will think of establishing buisness they will have to get land on lease.. becuse they can’t purchase it ( only state subjects can) so instead of going on with so many formalities these companies will think that it is better to establish their company somewhere else..

thats why most of the youths try to get jobs outside state…as they don’t get govt jobs….. they can’t get high packages here…

so unless and untill there is some amendment in the const … not even god can help j&k

You know what irritates me more than these anti-national elements; is the total apathy by our own government. They just do not care. Digest this.
1. When KMs started protesting first, the land transfer was immediatly cancelled. When when Indians protest and that too for more than a month; noone even blinks.
2. KMs started threating to march towards POK. Our Home Minister was quick to reply that we have no objection to trade with POK. Nothing to Indians.
3. BJP and others are labelled as communal because they talk about Hindus. But when KMs and even mainstream politicians in the valley openly talk about muslims only; they are secular and integral part of our government.
4. When a Delhi HC ordered a lift on ban on SIMI, our so called secular leaders , did not miss a second to hail it as a landmark decision.

I think it is high time we show these leaders that our votes count as well. We should ensure our votes are not divided and we bring BJP to absolute majority.

My Blood boils every time, when i see what happened with my family is repeating itself again… Kashmir or Kosovo is not the point here… point is, till when we will tolerate Jihadis on name of “cultural sensitivity”…

the story is also same in Malaysia… remember the sufferings of Malay Hindu, when they take up roads in Malaysia… they were not even allowed to submit their complains, whereas Muslims in kashmir had created all drama next to UN…

This is a column condemning cowardice – including my own. It begins with the story of a novel you cannot read. The Jewel of Medina was written by a journalist called Sherry Jones. It recounts the life of Aisha, a girl who was married off at the age of six to a 50-year-old man called Mohamed ibn Abdallah. On her wedding day, Aisha was playing on a see-saw outside her home. Inside, she was being betrothed. The first she knew of it was when she was banned from playing out in the street with the other children. When she was nine, she was taken to live with her husband, now 53. He had sex with her. When she was 14, she was accused of adultery with a man closer to her own age. Not long after, Mohamed decreed that his wives must cover their faces and bodies, even though no other women in Arabia did.

You cannot read this story today – except in the Koran and the Hadith. The man Mohamed ibn Abdallah became known to Muslims as “the Prophet Mohamed”, so our ability to explore this story is stunted. The Jewel of Medina was bought by Random House and primed to be a best-seller – before a University of Texas teacher saw proofs and declared it “a national security issue”. Random House had visions of a re-run of the Rushdie or the Danish cartoons affairs. Sherry Jones’s publisher has pulped the book. It’s gone.

In Europe, we are finally abolishing the lingering blasphemy laws that hinder criticism of Christianity. But they are being succeeded by a new blasphemy law preventing criticism of Islam – enforced not by the state, but by jihadis. I seriously considered not writing this column, but the right to criticise religion is as precious – and hard-won – as the right to criticise government. We have to use it or lose it.

Some people will instantly ask: why bother criticising religion if it causes so much hassle? The answer is: look back at our history. How did Christianity lose its ability to terrorise people with phantasms of sin and Hell? How did it stop spreading shame about natural urges – pre-marital sex, masturbation or homosexuality? Because critics pored over the religion’s stories and found gaping holes of logic or morality in them. They asked questions. How could an angel inseminate a virgin? Why does the Old Testament God command his followers to commit genocide? How can a man survive inside a whale?

Reinterpretation and ridicule crow-barred Christianity open. Ask enough tough questions and faith is inevitably pushed farther and farther back into the misty realm of metaphor – where it is less likely to inspire people to kill and die for it. But doubtful Muslims, and the atheists who support them, are being prevented from following this path. They cannot ask: what does it reveal about Mohamed that he married a young girl, or that he massacred a village of Jews who refused to follow him? You don’t have to murder many Theo Van Goghs or pulp many Sherry Joneses to intimidate the rest. The greatest censorship is internal: it is in all the books that will never be written and all the films that will never be shot, because we are afraid.

We need to acknowledge the double-standard – and that it will cost Muslims in the end. Insulating a religion from criticism – surrounding it with an electric fence called “respect” – keeps it stunted at its most infantile and fundamentalist stage. The smart, questioning and instinctively moral Muslims – the majority – learn to be silent, or are shunned (at best). What would Christianity be like today if George Eliot, Mark Twain and Bertrand Russell had all been pulped? Take the most revolting rural Alabama church, and metastasise it.

Since Jones has brought it up, let us look at Mohamed’s marriage to Aisha as a model for how we can conduct this conversation. It is true those were different times, and it may have been normal for grown men to have sex with prepubescent girls. The sources are not clear on this point. But whatever culture you live in, having sex when your body is not physically developed can be an excruciatingly painful experience. Among Vikings, it was more normal than today to have your arm chopped off, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t agony. If anything, Jones’s book whitewashes this, suggesting that Mohamed’s “gentleness” meant Aisha enjoyed it.

The story of Aisha also prompts another fundamentalist-busting discussion. You cannot say that Mohamed’s decision to marry a young girl has to be judged by the standards of his time, and then demand that we follow his moral standards to the letter. Either we should follow his example literally, or we should critically evaluate it and choose for ourselves. Discussing this contradiction inevitably injects doubt – the mortal enemy of fanaticism (on The Independent’s Open House blog later today, I’ll be discussing how Aisha has become the central issue in a debate in Yemen about children and forced marriage).

So why do many people who cheer The Life Of Brian and Jerry Springer: The Opera turn into clucking Mary Whitehouses when it comes to Islam? If a book about Christ was being dumped because fanatics in Mississippi might object, we would be enraged. I feel this too. I am ashamed to say I would be more scathing if I was discussing Christianity. One reason is fear: the image of Theo Van Gogh lying on a pavement crying “Can’t we just talk about this?” Of course we rationalise it, by asking: does one joke, one column, one novel make much difference? No. But cumulatively? Absolutely.

The other reason is more honourable, if flawed. There is very real and rising prejudice against Muslims across the West. The BBC recently sent out identically-qualified CVs to hundreds of employers. Those with Muslim names were 50 per cent less likely to get interviews. Criticisms of Islamic texts are sometimes used to justify US or Israeli military atrocities. Some critics of Muslims – Geert Wilders or Martin Amis – moot mass human rights abuses here in Europe. So some secularists reason: I have plenty of criticisms of Judaism, but I wouldn’t choose to articulate them in Germany in 1933. Why try to question Islam now, when Muslims are being attacked by bigots?

But I live in the Muslim majority East End of London, and this isn’t Weimar Germany. Muslims are secure enough to deal with some tough questions. It is condescending to treat Muslims like excitable children who cannot cope with the probing, mocking treatment we hand out to Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism. It is perfectly consistent to protect Muslims from bigotry while challenging the bigotries and absurdities within their holy texts.

There is now a pincer movement trying to silence critical discussion of Islam. To one side, fanatics threaten to kill you; to the other, critics call you “Islamophobic”. But consistent atheism is not racism. On the contrary: it treats all people as mature adults who can cope with rational questions. When we pulp books out of fear of fundamentalism, we are decapitating the most precious freedom we have.

Having spent lot of energy in replying to hatemails and Islamophobic comments, I have finally understood the great Indian saying ‘Bhains ke aage been bajaana’ in the real sense.

This ancient saying can be translated as: ‘It is futile to play flute to a buffalo’. The buffalo is a different species and one can’t fault her. Unfortunately it is more difficult to deal with your fellow species.

Take for instance Mr Kuldeep Trisal. In the context of Kashmir, he gives me a long feedback that ‘the problem began when Islam first showed its face on the valley’ and then goes on to mouth the same theory about ‘most militants being Muslims’ and that ‘Islam teaches to kill’ and after all his venom, dares me ‘if you have the balls, publish my comment’.

I would love to publish his comment along with his photograph, I hope he has the courage to send me the photo and own up the comments. But I can’t tolerate badtamizi. There has to be a bit of decency. I respect all religions and take the names of the religious figures respectfully.

I have always written either Ramchandra Ji and Krishna Ji. If you want your comment to be published and want a real debate, either stop being disrespectful to holy figures of other religions including Islam (at least, don’t mention the names if you can’t be respectful). Else, you can start your own blog and write whatever you want on that space.

I will say Harmony Harmony. Their slogan will always be Hate Hate.
The fact is that one can deal with all sorts of guys but it is useless to talk to such hate-filled creatures whose only aim is to spread communalism through their propaganda in the form of comments on sites, blogs and forums. It is interesting to see how all these people seem to know the same anti-Islamic propaganda sites which they frequently quote and make similar charges against Muslims. They may also smell their success in my outburst…..anyway.

Right now the need is to
1) Educate Indians(Hindus+Muslims) about Islamic terrorism, give them examples across the world and back in there home (Kashmir,SIMI,Indian Mujahadin) .

2) Plan to highlight the KP’s example to world , especially to people in west etc ….

PS: I have spoken to on my contacts in rootsinkashmir and I will be trying to see how we can get INDIANS joins all all over the india ( hindu’s + muslim) .

like I had pointed earlier in my post on Secular Kashmiri … that next morning of Ahmedabad blasts … i woke up and was shocked to see LIFESTYLE programs on the channel … when there had been 16 SERIAL BLASTS IN THE ONE CITY AND 3 IN ANOTHER CITY …

THAT WAS CLEAR CONTEMPT TO A NEWS OF SUCH CONSEQUENCE … CNN IBN IS A SHAMEFUL CHANNEL … THAT IS TRYING TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT …

I AM SURE THEY TOOK THE POLLS IN PAKISTAN … HAHAHAHA …. OR AMONG THEMSELVES IN THE STUDIO … ITS HILARIOUS …

but like i said they are helping to incite the majority of the people in the country who will rise and take care of the challenges in front of their country …

Bolstering any movement’s perceived strength is not riskless, it can also induce major reaction. Islamist understand this, and perhaps thats why we have two equivalent movements. One that shows Muslims as victim, and other that justify attack on anyone, that they consider a threat in way of Islamization of world. as an act of self defense.

yet under the right set of contingencies, a pro-islamist turn in public option will make fear change sides. people who were reluctant to appear too sympathetic to Islamism will become reluctant to become too unsympathetic. Thus, a shift in public option may weaken the anti-islamist resistance, make it equivocate, and evantually crush it.

This is why you have such a biased Media coverage, and lectures of secularism by those terrorist-appeasers….. what we need is to give shape to equivalent counter force, that can represent ourself.. rather then making the Islamofacist voice acceptable…

today we had seen, the way Indian Media had fallen down… at this critical movement it has become far more important to create a Media channel that repersent the peoples, and not the political appeasement, political correctness, and repersent our community rather then Islamofacist demands…

I don’t think so , look how in BIHAR people have registered case against Raj Thakaray for his provocative speeches against north Indians .
And for Geelani’s case I think it is genuine , you have evidences against him.

Everyone in India knows what is the meaning of the word azaadi…

According to the Indian constitution JNK is an integral part of India.

So if someone talks of azaadi it is actually contempt of Indian constitution and there is no provision in the Indian constitution for self determination . It is not the right of kashmiri moslems no matter if they support geela-ni or not .

so the case is pretty clear.

only way is to find some organisation that can prepare and file the case.

this cant be done by individual directly.

Imagine for a moment that Hindus in 1946 had killed, murdered,raped and looted Muslims at will and then give the Muslims of India the option to convert to Hinduism, leave India or die. Imagine that ALL MUSLIMS left India to live in refugee camps.

Under the such circumstances in 1946, would the British intellectuals and the civilized world have supported freedom for India? I do not think so.
And more importantly, would the Hindus of India circa 1946 deserve freedom? Once again, an emphatic NO.

So, why don’t those intellectuals who give us the example of India’s freedom struggle against the British and draw parallels to contemporary Kashmir, ask themselves whether the Kashmiri Muslims who ethnically cleansed the valley of her native inhabitants really deserve freedom?

If the answer given is yes, then what moral right do we have of preventing the Mizos to split or for that matter, what right do we have to prevent the Marathas from expelling all non- Marathis from their state?

Its a shame to see responsible and respected muslim like Shabana Azmi commenting on J&K when the entire nation is acknowledging SIMI and other radical islamists involvement in terrorist activities. If she and other muslims would have joined together and adviced those radicals and terrorists that would have done much better to the nation and to other innocent muslims of this country.

NEW DELHI, Aug 21: Claiming “massive success” in today’s ‘jail bharo’ programme, the VHP said nearly 9 lakh people all over the country courted arrest to support those agitating in Jammu for restoration of land to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) that would facilitate pilgrims during the annual ‘Amarnath yatra’

VHP general secretary Pravin Togadia said court arrest by nearly nine lakh people, including nearly 50,000 in Delhi alone, was historic and indicative of the mood of the people.

“Today’s massive turnout has proved that the Amarnath land issue has truely become a national movement. The momentum would be maintained and the sacrifice by the people of Jammu would not go waste with the issue having acquired a pan-Indian character and people from all walks participating.”

While the largest number of arrests were made in Rajasthan, where nearly 1.3 lakh people courted arrest, four other States — Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh — accounted for figures above 50,000, said the VHP leader adding that the figures exclude Andhra Pradesh where the ‘andolan’ would be held tomorrow.

Emphasizing that the entire ‘andolan’ was peaceful, Mr Togadia said, “even now, if the Government fails to meet the people’s demands it should be ready for serious consequences.”

He said this was the third “big step” taken in support of those agitating in Jammu over the Amarnath land issue for the last 54 days, after the July 3 ‘Bharat Bandh’ and August 13 ‘Chakka Jam’, and added that the next step would be carried out in consultation with the Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti (SASS).

Other major States where arrests were made were Haryana (11,116 people), Punjab (30,982), Karnataka (15,709), Chhattisgarh (10,430) and Gujarat (14,501).

From nowhere was any report of any violence or mishappening reported.

Meanwhile, in Delhi more than 50,000 people courted arrest with VHP activists, backed by the BJP and its affiliates and supporters of various religious and social organizations, gathering at six places — Hauz Khas, Paharganj, Ashok Vihar, Rajouri Garden, Nand Nagri and Bhola Nath Nagar — for the ‘anodolan’.

The phenomenal increase in the cost of schooling the children has forced affluent families to opt for one child norm in India.

A Hindu student with 95 plus marks cannot get admission here but a Christian student with less than 50 per cent marks is admitted and more than fifty per cent of the seats are reserved for the community. The case is similar—be it Aligarh Muslim University or Jamia Milia. All these institutions are more conscious about their brand name. How can an institution that admits students only on communal basis qualify for secular tag? Tragically, in Hindu-run institutions Hindu students don’t get either the preference or concessions because of religion. The survey says that school costs have risen at more than double the rate of inflation and come amid warnings to parents to plan early for their child’s education.

Government has taken up the report of Justice Rajindar Sachar Committee for speedy implementation, he added.
Under the UPA, and the so-called secular parties in the country there is no incentive to be a Hindu in India. On the contrary, he will remain the most exploited and condemned and his progeny is facing a slow but steady process of natural elimination by a series of official policies and systematic cross-border terrorism and infiltration all aided and abetted by the government of the day.
Chidambaram told the House, “Apart from the schemes commenced in 2007-08, for minorities, it is proposed to implement the following schemes/measures in 2008-09:

* A multi-sectoral development plan for each of the 90 minority concentration districts will be drawn up at a cost of Rs. 3,780 crore. The allocation in 2008-09 will be Rs. 540 crore;
* A pre-matric scholarship scheme with an allocation of Rs. 80 crore next year;
* A scheme for modernising madrasa education for which a provision of Rs. 45.45 crore has been made in 2008-09;
* 256 branches of public sector banks have been opened this year until December 2007 in districts with substantial minority population. 288 more will be opened by March 2008 and many more in 2008-09; and
* Continuing the exercise started this year, more candidates belonging to the minority communities will be recruited to the central para-military forces.
* Rs. 60 crore to enhance the corpus fund of the Maulana Azad Education Foundation.” (Budget speech, Part-A, Page- 9).

Not only this. Under the UPA minorities got all the benefits that were denied to the Hindu. It pursued a crass communal agenda, not only to weaken the Hindu but make minorities a combative, separate and pampered vote bank to the detriment of national unity and safety

Peace Talks or Iron Fist

These days everywhere I see people, politicians, media etc. talking about a solution over the Amarnath Land issue through peace talks. But before we think of a solution by peace talks I believe that we would need to answer some of the very simple questions.

What sort of solution can be thought of when the people in Kashmir are shouting pro-Pakistan slogans? What sort of solution can be thought of when the people of Kashmir are shouting slogans for AZAADI (freedom)? What sort of solution can be thought of when the people of Kashmir are carrying Pakistani Flags while protesting? What sort of solution can be thought of when the people of Kashmir are marching towards Muzaffarabad (in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir – POK)? What sort of solution can be thought of when the protesters in Kashmir shout “Pakistan Humara Hai”, “Hun Pakistani Hain”? What types of protests are being held in the Kashmir region? I wonder whether these protests are really over the Amarnath Land issue or against the so called Economic Blockade.

So what is the Government waiting for ?

Needless to mention that in the long run the policy of appeasement has always been disadvantageous and history holds the testimony to that. So probably Government of India will have to rethink about their policy of appeasement in Kashmir and then take some tough stand against whatever is happening there. In my opinion and I hope all my fellow Indians would agree that all this needs to be dealt with an Iron fist rather than holding peace talks and sending peace missions.

Solution to the Kashmir issue

1) Put the state under President of India’s rule.

2) Declare an emergency in the state. Seal the LOC.

3) Arrest all the Seperatist and Hardline leaders. Chargesheet and procecute them with the harshest of punishment (e.g death sentence) for conspiring against the country.

4) Arrest all the leaders of NC and PDP. Chargesheet and procecute them.

5) Give shoot at sight orders to the army, if there is any violence by the people against these arrest.

6) Arrest anybody who talks pro-pakistan.

7) Do this for 1 year.

Remove the emergency and hold fresh elections in the state.

The result will be a clean and fresh Kashmir region where everybody will live in harmony for the times to come.

The separatist muslims are getting more and more aggressive and the Government is getting softer and softer. VHP has been follwing the Sangharsh Samiti’s lead …. especially when the samiti has been afraid of giving this a “communal issue ” …. which i believe is “CRAP” on samiti’s part ….. this issue really is communal and religious… what else is it ? ….. this i say with ALL DUE RESPECT TO THE GREAT WORK THEY HAVE DONE SO FAR i.e the samiti …

Indian people have to understand that this is a very important point in the state’s history ….

the Amarnath issue has brought the voice of Indian people into focus …. and this “HAS TO BE MADE POLITICAL” if any long term Indian specific solution for the state has to be done which is simply “ABOLISH 370 AND MAKE IT AN ORDINARY INDIAN STATE”….

its all a congress’s gameplan … to push the issue away from VHP , BJP and the like …

as this can bind the urban India even more than the “PRICE ISSUE ” … which is majorly the issue in the country side …

so the congress is feeling the pinch from all sides … and it stands to loose the “moslem votes” if it gives into the samiti’s demands … (moslems are all a single unit … they will dare not say anything against the demand of azaadi of kashmiri moslems … such moslems are a rare minority … majority are radicals or neutrals laying dormant for now )

GOVT SLEEPING……COUNTRY WEEPING….ITALIAN ENJOYING

This is today,s incident at Poonch( A BORDER TOWN OF J&K,FALLING IN JAMMU PROVINCE)..which despite its less Hindu population was supporting the Sangarsh Simiti by taking out processions…

Yesterday evening(22 Aug),after a group clash at mandi,announcements started in poonch through the mosques and people travelling in vehicles for all muslims to gather at prade ground poonch.

A huge rally started from parade ground (one end of main market ) and started looting the shops (which were closed due to bandh call of muslims) .After looting the shops they burnt them by throwing petrol .
This continued for 2 hours untill half of the main bazaar was put to fire,selectively shops of Hindus and few sikhs.

Main features of this vandalism were:

1.All this was pre planned , it was announced a day before through the cars,police didnt sense the gravity of situation and impose the cerfew beforehand.

2.D.C Poonch did not call the army to control the mob.

3. Mob was moving in the form of a regulated procession,selectively burning shop after shop, POLICE WAS ALSO ACCOMPANYING THE MOB ,made no effort to stop it by using cane charge or teargass.

4.Hindus were simply sitting in their homes due to Bandh, later came to know about their shops and properties,started gathering in Main market,SP Poonch reached the spot and started firing in air and teargassing to disperse the people whose properties were vandalised.

HAD THE HINDUS BURNT THE PROPERTIES OF MUSLIMS,ALL THE HR COMMISSIONS WOULD HAVE COME SHOUTING,ALL THE MUSLIMS WOULD HAVE BEEN SHOUTING”ISLAM KHATRE MEIN HAI “BUT WHAT TO SAY OF SECULAR GOVTS ..STILL SLEEPING .
ALL THE ADMINISTRATION IN THIS COUNTRY IS IN HANDS OF DUMB FOOLS,IDOTS AND GOONS…GOD SAVE THIS COUNTRY

All the Poonch News is 100% correct,I came to know about this from my relatives at Poonch,The Mandi.(Poonch) Muslims also closed their shops as protest against Shri Budha amarnath Holi Chhadi Yatra on Raksha Bandhan this year for the first time during past 60 years.

Leaving the present controversy apart i request you all to decide about islam not by what may some untrue muslims have done with you but by reading quran .after that you all can decide for yourselves.

Hey guys after having cleared the facts i have got something to say
Leaving alone my request that i made above,with all the love and emphathy for kp’s i would like to remind you that although some blacksheeps from the muslim community had troubled pundits the mass drive of migration was the result of the recomendations of the then governer and unfortunately the pundit brothers ,instead of believing their muslim neighbour ,believed in mr jagmohan .this is what actually separated us.
nevertheless i can still imagine the pain that you might be in your heart .and i do openly support that the people who were the cause of the fear in the pundits were and and at the same time you should also agree that those were some blacksheeps who actually do not reflect the behaviour of km’s
and now when i see the cooments in this lobby i believe and hope that these comments are also by those blacksheeps of the present community, whom i would give the same reagard that i would have given to those that were in 90
because these people are also talking of doing the same thing that was done in early 90’s
and i still hope that the true kp’s will still be will to come to the valley a they used to do ,because thats what a common km who lived with them at thjat time would love to happen.

Apostle of God used to clean himself after defecation using only odd number of stones. That is the sunna (examples set by Muhammad). Muslims living in U.S. can go to Home Depot and buy a bag of gravel for this purpose (the used gravel can be good landscaping material).

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 4, Number 163:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, ” whoever cleans his private parts with stones should do so with odd numbers. And whoever wakes up from his sleep should wash his hands before putting them in the water for ablution, because nobody knows where his hands were during sleep.”

NEVER USE BONES OR ANIMAL DUNG AFTER DEFECATING

Jinns love to eat bones and dried animal dung. They don’t appreciate the contamination of their favourite delicacy with fecal matter and can pounce on the next guy they find sitting and defecating.

Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 200:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
That once he was in the, company of the Prophet carrying a water pot for his ablution and for cleaning his private parts. While he was following him carrying it (i.e. the pot), The Prophet said, “Bring me stones in order to clean my private parts, and do not bring any bones or animal dung.”

“What about the bone and the animal dung?” He said, “They are of the food of Jinns. The delegate of Jinns of (the city of) Nasibin came to me–and how nice those Jinns were–and asked me for the remains of the human food. I invoked Allah for them that they would never pass by a bone or animal dung but find food on them.”

HOW TO URINATE

You must keep your right hand clean to hold Quran.

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 4, Number 156:
Narrated Abu Qatada:

The Prophet said, “Whenever anyone of you urinates he should not hold his penis or clean his private parts with his right hand.

WASH YOUR NOSE FROM INSIDE IN THE MORNING

In the morning wash your nose from inside as Satan urinates and defecates inside while spending the night there. Otherwise you will have runny nose all day besides possible nose infections.

Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, “If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.”

WASH YOUR EARS FROM INSIDE IF YOU WAKE UP LATE

If you wake up late in the morning and miss the fajr prayer, Satan who spends the night in your nose walks out and urinates in your ears. It results in ear infection.

Bukhari Volume 2, Book 21, Number 245:
Narrated ‘Abdullah :
A person was mentioned before the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and he was told that he had kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer. The Prophet said, “Satan urinated in is ears.”

Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 492:

Narrated ‘Abdullah:

WOMEN MUST BE CIRCUMCISED

Circumcision keeps a woman from doing hanky panky thus protecting her from hellfire.
Sunan Abu Dawud Book 41, Number 5251:

Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah:
A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina . The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband.

i have a belief that to strike on the enemy in any way …

we have to know who the enemy is ?? …. what are its shortcomings ??….what does it stand for ??…. the ground on which it stands … is it really as strong as it has been telling the world ?????

if we ponder on the above questions …. we will realize that the enemy here is islam and we have to know all it shortcomings and expose it to the world … what its preachers are preaching ….

and even when ordinary moslem so fondly says “islam is region of Peace” ….. we all know that this is utter crap and bullshit ….

but how do we prove it ??? ….. you dont find serials on thier religion that can tell us what it stands for …. moslems on the other hand have seen all our holy serials … and they know about our religion so much more …

so to enlighten the world …. we have to know our basics as well …. to expose this religion of terrorism we have to know some facts …. so that we can eradicate the world of this menace and evil ….

but surely we have to keep rising within as well …. and make sure we have such institutions that keep an eye on these people and what they are upto ….

so we have to waste some of our time to make sure that all of our time does not gets wasted ….
